My ‘Thoughts’ and Prayer With Scripture

Sharing some ‘thoughts’ and prayer with you ~ as they have come my way, along with scripture:

  • God loves this nation/s.
  • Broad is the way that leads to destruction.
  • May we not be indifferent. A faithful man will be richly blessed. ~ Proverbs 28:20
  • 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise,…….; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentence. (John 3:17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world though Him might be saved.)
  • Hearts beat as the heart of the Father, minds be renewed to the mind of Christ, voices be awakened to declare the Truth to the glory of the Lord. Breathe on us, Ruach of God, that we might live. In Jesus Name.
  • Come Lord Jesus.
JOB 2:9- ‘His wife said to him, “Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!”‘
JOB 2:10- ‘He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.’
DT 31:8- “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Isaiah 35

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there;

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

To Be Set Apart

Our heavenly Father longs for us to draw nigh, to be set apart. Lay at the feet of Jesus everything, that we would walk in obedience to/with/in and because of His love.

Dying daily that no longer us who lives but Christ! For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phil. 1:21
For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring. Acts 17:28
Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Phil. 2:2…….That every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:11
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. Song of Solomon 8:6
“…the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Ephesians 1:18

In His love and prayer,

Prayer Changes Things

Remember–Prayer changes things, and we are all intercessors in the Lord’s eyes. Each of our prayers helps collectively fulfill, and partner with, when praying the Lord’s perfect will.

Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.” NKJV
Philippians 4:4-8, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things. (NKJV)

Psalms 23

The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33:4
1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.” Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints…” Colossians 4:2 “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.”

What a great way to look at one of our favorite passages:
